Abstract

|
Epidural anesthesia is a popular regional anesthetic technique for surgical anesthesia and analgesia. Bupivacsine has become a popular local anesthetic because of its long duration of action and excellent sensory anesthesia. Unfortunately, there
advantages may be offset by the potential for cardiac toxicity, usually owing to accidental intravascular injection or to the administration of an excessive dose of bupivacaine.
